We start our Laboratory Work when the Cosmic energies that affect our Earth are active and flowing. When Working with Herbal tinctures (Spagyrics) our goal in the Laboratory is to remove impurities that resist the flow of Energies, and to choose the best Cosmic energies to charge our matter as it circulates through the Laboratory glassware. Charging increases the vibration of the Plant so that we effectively raise it's evolution. This makes it more compatible with the higher vibratory range of mammals therefore improving it's use as a remedy for People.

If the Ancient Practical Alchemists had the Modern Scientific Technology and Mathematics we have today, I know they would have used it. Alchemy and Science together can make a great combination. Organic chemistry, molecular chemistry, geology and biology, all have gifts for the Alchemically aligned explorer, and Alchemy may have surprising new discoveries to impart to the scientifically minded theorist. After all, Chemistry is an off-shoot of Alchemy, from which even the word Chemistry comes from. This also applies to the Modern Science of Astronomy, and the Ancient Science of Astrology.

Alchemical Astrology looks more to the Astronomy of the Stars and Solar System, than the Modern Tropical Astrology generally practiced today. For the Laboratory I use Sidereal Astrology on a special chart that shows the Astronomical Positions of the Planets and Stars. Associated Energies are much easier to see in this format. Modern Science can be used to identify some of the Cosmic energies in the form of Radio Waves, Xrays, and Gravity Waves. Alchemists Work with theoretical Energies that have yet to be scientifically identified and confirmed, but, by putting Alchemy and Science back together many important secrets may be revealed.
