The dates chosen for the Gold Making Charts presented here are based on an article by Nick Kollerstrom called "Golden Moments". The author has researched occasions where Alchemist's made Gold in front of credible witnesses.

Gold Making Date - 1382.

French Alchemist, Nicholas Flamel, transmuted one half pound of Mercury into the finest Gold.

Edward Kelley transmutes 1.5 ounces of Mercury into Gold.

Four persons believed that they saw Silver become Gold.

Strong seismic activity was reported in Oaxaca, (North America - near the equator) on December 21, 1701.

Gold Making Date - 1709.

On the February 16, 1709, Lascaris is believed to have changed Mercury into Gold, and Gold into Silver, a double transmutation.

The coldest winter (1708-09) in 500 years. It caused a famine in most of the European countries.

It is not known whether volcanoes or earthquakes had anything to do with this extreme climatic change, but it is thought to have ended with a flurry of earthquakes.

Gold Making Date - 1716.

Transmutation of Lead into Gold, witnessed by many on the 31st of December, 1716.

Gold Making Date - May 25, 1782.

James Price, Fellow of the Royal Society A sample of the Gold, that was transmuted from Mercury, was sent to a goldsmith of Oxford, who said it was "superior to Gold of the English standard". King George was presented with gold from that experiment.

1782 Mendoza earthquake was a seismic movement that took place in the province of Mendoza, Argentina, on 22 May 1782. It was felt with grade VIII in the Mercalli intensity scale, and damaged several buildings, but did not produce casualties. Magnitude 7.0 on the old Richter Scale.
